CARRISSA TAKES PERSONAL BEST IN WINTON IN FUN CUP CAR
Carrissa Clarke in action at Winton
Fun Cup Australia driver Carrissa Clarke has completed a full and successful race weekend at the Victorian high country circuit of Winton Motor Raceway.
Clarke achieved her personal best times at the track during the weekend and moved through the field showing true courage and commitment.
Following the weekend, an excited Clarke said:
‘Being on that short track at Winton was hard, you don’t get a break as it’s go go go…
I had to pull out of my first race on Sunday morning, I wasn’t well
So I spent the morning trying to feel better by eating heaps & resting.
My second race was at 1:30 pm and at 1pm I jumped up, put on all of my gear and went to the car and said “I’m going out!”
I live for this, I wasn’t going to miss the very last race out of the most epic weekend.
I knew I’d pay for it later but you don’t think of that at the time’
